What a mouthful.
I fell into film photography after unexpectedly receiving a gift of an old and well-loved Canon AE-1 Program. I immediately took to it and began bringing it everywhere. We've been inseparable ever since.
With my love for film bloomed an insatiable passion for movement photography. To capture your story the best I can, I happily dove headfirst into the world of digital photography and embraced these two opposing but complementary forces.
I bask in the deliberateness of film. The lack of instant feedback pushes me to trust my instincts and hone my skills. I live for the thrill and speed of digital. I move quickly and capture the moments that linger so briefly. I slow down, I speed up, and focus. On you. On the task at hand. Through my lens, I learned to pay attention, see the tiny details, and capture the story. Your story.
